As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission’s compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

Title page of the manuscript includes the following information: Title, complete authors name, affiliation/s of each author, corresponding author’s details including professional affiliation, postal and email address and telephone number.
The manuscript is structured as per the JDUHS “Instructions for Authors” guidelines.
Data / output file should be provided along with the other required documents.
The similarity index of all submitted manuscripts must be below 15% (effective Jan 2025), with no single source exceeding 5%. All submissions are screened through Turnitin to detect textual similarity with previously published work.
As per ICMJE and COPE guidelines, authors must ensure originality and disclose any use of AI tools. AI may be used only for language editing, not for generating data, results, or interpretations. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the manuscript.
Any plagiarism, undisclosed AI use, or ethical violation may lead to rejection.
In case of original article, total number of references are in between 20-40 and the minimum word count of manuscript 2000 excluding abstract.
Running title is mentioned.
Tables/figures are not more than four.
All References are in Vancouver style.
More than 60% of the References are from last 5 years.
